City Island Restaurant Week | April 7 to 12, 2026

Apr 3, 2026 | City Island News

City Island will hold its first Restaurant Week Tuesday, April 7 through Sunday, April 12.  Organized by the City Island Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Flavors of NY, the week will feature specials at 15 City Island locations, from seafood to smokehouse BBQ, Irish pub to Italian fare, Greek and Mediterranean flavors, and more.

“We invite you to City Island for our first ever Restaurant Week,” said City Island Chamber of Commerce President Paul Klein. “Our restaurants are waiting to welcome you.”

“Our restaurants are ready to put their best food forward for Restaurant Week, as they do every day,” echoed Monica Yehle-Glick, Marketing Director for the Chamber. “And they are offering specials that will also satisfy.”

A dozen City Island restaurants had participated in “Savor the Bronx” in February 2025, enjoying that experience. In light of that, and following a challenging winter, the Chamber felt a good next step would be to organize a week just for City Island restaurants, collaborating with Alan Goldsher of Flavors of NY who provided video vignettes to showcase participating locations.

The City Island Chamber of Commerce is also planning a way to spotlight City Island’s other unique shops and businesses this fall as part of “Treasures of City Island.”  More details on that to come.
