The Artist (Starving Artist) Celebrates “Best Concert Venue” Win

Jan 19, 2024 | Best of the Bronx

One of the 16 City Island Chamber Member Business wins in the “Best of the Bronx” competition went to The Artist (Starving Artist) (249 City Island Avenue, City Island, NY) for “Best Concert Venue.”
On Saturday, January 13, The Artist owner and musician Elliott Glick organized an all-star show and celebration of that honor. Musicians and singers, including some from City Island, performed for a packed house.  Glick expressed gratitude to all who voted for The Artist, to those who took the stage that night and so many other nights, and to all who continue to support The Artist these past 27 years.
And in the ongoing spirit of collaboration of businesses on City Island, Ron Terner of Focal Point Gallery (321 City Island Avenue, City Island, NY) captured the evening with his amazing photographs. They are included in this video from that January Saturday night.
